...as they presented each other with wedding day gifts; a timepiece for him, diamond earrings for her. Clearly, this moment meant so much more to them than just gifts. In an hour they would be vowing their love for each other in front of friends and family. The way they looked at each other —the giggles and embrace— communicated love, trust, and gratitude for the life they were about to begin together.
As Julie and Mark were caught up in this moment I realized how deeply I loved telling my couples' love stories.
My grandfather, who had been a magazine photographer earlier in his career, was the first one to teach me how to use a camera. Fast forward to today, and I'm a Nashville wedding photographer, working with down-to-earth couples, giving them natural and joyful photos that bring them back to that feeling of excitement and anticipation from their wedding day!

You may know that you want to spend the rest of your life with this person -- your soulmate -- who has loved you so well, better than anyone before. But knowing you are ready to propose doesn't mean you know exactly how to do it. Proposing is a huge step, and an exciting one at that! There are so many decisions to make about how your proposal should go. Should your fiancé-to-be know that it's coming, or should it be a complete surprise? Do you use a family ring, or pick out a new one? And what location would provide the best setting for such an important life event, bringing the most meaning to the moment you ask the love of your life to be yours forever?
Maybe you've already proposed. Congratulations! Now you're planning the wedding itself. Click here for more about the Caia Grace Nashville wedding photography experience, and the types of couples we typically work with.
